Description

Styptochrome E injection is used to help prevent or reduce bleeding. It contains ethamsylate as the main ingredient. It is commonly given for heavy periods, unusual bleeding from the uterus, or to control bleeding during or after certain surgeries. It helps stop the bleeding and is usually given in a hospital or clinic by a doctor or nurse.

This medicine works by helping your blood clot more easily. It achieves this by enhancing the ability of your platelets (the blood cells that help stop bleeding) to stick together more effectively and by strengthening small blood vessels, thereby reducing their tendency to bleed easily.

Most people tolerate Styptochrome E injection well, but some may have mild side effects. These can include headache, nausea, vomiting, skin rash, or a reaction at the injection site. Always tell your doctor if you feel unwell or if any side effects get worse.

Before getting this injection, tell your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have problems with your heart, liver, or kidneys. Also, be sure to inform them about any other medications or supplements you are taking. Do not take this injection if you have had an allergic reaction to it before.
