How Does It Work?
Citicoline protects the structure and function of the nerve membrane. It also helps to stimulate the mitochondria in the brain cells to boost function and improve memory and cognition.
Directions for Use of Storax 500 MG
- Take this medication as per the doctor's prescription with the help of a measuring cup
- Do not exceed the number of the prescribed dose
- Shake well before use
Interactions of Storax 500 MG
Interactions with other medicines
- Citicoline can increase the effects of levodopa and increase dopamine levels
- Meclofenoxate, when taken along with this syrup, may decrease the effects of Citicoline
- Concomitant use of entrophenoxine can reduce the effects of Citicoline
Other general Interactions
For patients on long term use of Citicoline, creatinine levels should be monitored to assess kidney function
Citicoline should be stopped before surgery

- Store in a dry place at a room temperature of no more than 25° C
- Keep it away from heat and moisture
- Keep out of reach of children and pets
- Do not flush the contents of the medicine
