Stanzol tablet is a prescription medicine used under specialist care to help prevent attacks of hereditary angioedema, which causes sudden swelling in the skin, abdomen or airway. Its active ingredient is stanozolol, an anabolic steroid. Stanozolol increases production of proteins that help control the swelling process, which may reduce the frequency or severity of attacks. It is taken by mouth as a whole tablet with water and is not intended for muscle building or performance enhancement.
