10 mg tablets is through the Z compounds that bind to a part of the gamma-Aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptor called the Alpha 1 portion, which aids GABA in producing a calming effect on the brain and inducing sleep. Soza 10 mg tablet is used to treat insomnia, a condition in which a person has difficulty initiating and maintaining sleep. This sleep disorder can affect the quality of life. Contraindications of Soza 10 MG
- Do not take Soza 10 mg tablets or use caution:
- If you are hypersensitive to Zolpidem or its related compounds
- If you have been diagnosed with myasthenia gravis
- If you have been diagnosed with sleep apnoea/breathing problems
- If you have an alcohol-dependence disorder
- If you have any mental health disorders
- If you have any other health conditions like glaucoma, seizures, heart conditions, renal disorders or liver conditions. Your physician may need to modify your dose

How Does It Work?
Directions for Use of Soza 10 MG
- Take Soza 10 mg tablets at a fixed time every night, ideally about an hour before bed.
- Do not take this medication with or immediately after a meal. Food can decrease its absorption and effects.
- Swallow the tablet as a whole; do not split, crush, or chew it.
- Take this medication at the recommended dose. Do not alter the dose in any way, as this may lead to undesirable side effects.
- It is important to take this medication for the entire duration prescribed to you by your doctor. This holds even if you begin to feel better. Abruptly stopping this medication can lead to side effects such as increased irritability, nausea, or anxiety....

Interactions with other medicines
- Soza 10 mg tablets can interact with many medicines and cause adverse side effects. It is advised to inform the doctor of all medications being currently taken so that they can be checked for possible interaction issues. The following medicines are known to interact with Soza 10 mg tablets....
- Co-Administration of Soza 10 mg tablets with imipramine and chlorpromazine is contraindicated as it can lead to severe impairment of alertness and other severe side effects.
- Co-administration with other medicines that act on the central nervous system (CNS), such as codeine, benzodiazepines, etc., may increase the CNS depressant effect of Zolpidem. Hence, it is not recommended....
- The metabolism of Zolpidem in Soza 10 mg tablets may be increased with certain medications like rifampicin. This may lead to a decrease in its efficacy.
- The metabolism of Zolpidem in Soza 10 mg tablets may be decreased with certain medicines. This may lead to their actions being prolonged. Co-administration of medicines that include ritonavir, indinavir, clarithromycin, ketoconazole, etc., is not recommended....
Interactions with food items
- Avoid caffeine-containing substances such as tea and coffee while on treatment with Soza 10 mg tablets.
