Medical Description

Soranib tablet is used in the treatment of advanced kidney cancer, liver cancer, and thyroid cancer. It is important to take it on an empty stomach at the same time each day, as directed by your doctor. The prescribed dosage and frequency will depend on your specific condition and may change over time, so strictly follow your doctor's instructions. Incorrect use or overdose can lead to serious side effects.

Common side effects include fatigue, nausea, loss of appetite, hair loss, and diarrhoea. As this medication may cause high blood pressure, regular blood pressure checks may be necessary. Immediately inform your doctor if you experience severe skin reactions, such as a rash, or any pain, swelling, or redness in your hands and feet.

Before starting Sorafenat, disclose any history of heart, liver, or kidney problems, or high blood pressure to your doctor, and also inform them about all other medications you are currently taking, as interactions can occur. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and it's crucial for both male and female patients to use effective contraception throughout the treatment to prevent pregnancy.
