  • Concomitant use of non-selective or selective beta-blockers may weaken or antagonize the effect of salmeterol
  • Simultaneous treatment of steroids, diuretics and xanthine derivatives may potentiate the acute severe asthma
  • Highly potent cytochrome CYP34A inhibitors like ritonavir increased the plasma concentrations of fluticasone
  • Co-administration of ketoconazole and salmeterol increases the plasma salmeterol exposure
  • Co-administration of erythromycin and salmeterol significantly increases the exposure of salmeterol
