Serenace Tablet belongs to a class of medications known as antipsychotics. It contains Haloperidol, which treats certain mental/mood disorders (psychosis, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorders) an
d Tourette Syndrome. It works by preventing dopamine, a chemical messenger in the human brain that influences thoughts and emotions, from acting. Schizophrenia is a mental disorder in which people interpret reality abnormally. Schizophrenic patients experience hallucinations, delusions, and extremely disordered thinking and behaviour, impairing daily functioning and disabling. Tourette disorder is a neurological ailment characterised by uncontrollable repeated motions, noises, or tics. Serenace Tablet can be taken with or without food or prescribed. The dose and duration of the medicine should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. You must not skip any doses and complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better. This medication is not stopped abruptly without consulting your doctor as it may worsen your symptoms and show withdrawal symptoms. Before taking medicine, talk to your doctor if you have thyroid or renal issues, epilepsy, glaucoma, Parkinson's disease, or any heart issues. You should consult your doctor before taking Serenace Tablets if you are pregnant. Don’t take this medicine if you are breastfeeding, as it may pass into breast milk.

How Does It Work?
Directions for Use of Serenace 5 MG
- Take Serenace Tablet with or without meals preferably at the same time.
- Take the tablet orally, all at once. Don't crush, break or chew it.
- Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and duration of this medication. Do not take doses in larger amounts than advised.
- Do not abruptly stop taking the medicine without consulting your doctor as it may cause withdrawal symptoms.
