Medical Description
Rtetra tablet is an antibiotic used for selected bacterial infections, including some infections of the skin, respiratory tract, urinary system and sexually transmitted infections. It contains tetracycline, which blocks bacteria from making proteins needed for growth. By limiting bacterial multiplication, it allows the body's immune system to clear the infection. Rtetra tablet is taken by mouth on an empty stomach with sufficient water, and it should be used only for an infection diagnosed by a doctor. It is not useful for viral illnesses such as common colds.
