Contraindications of Rosuchek D 5mg Tablet

  • If you are allergic to rosuvastatin, vitamin D3/cholecalciferol or any other ingredient of Rosuchek D Tablet.
  • If you have liver or kidney problems.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If you have thyroid problems
  • If you have frequent/unexplained muscle pain
  • If you are a woman capable of becoming pregnant and not using any methods of birth control.
  • If you are taking medication called fibrates (contact your doctor if you are unsure)
  • If you are taking a medicine containing a combination of sofosbuvir/velpatasvir/voxilaprevir
  • If you consume alcohol in excess

Mode of Action of Rosuchek D 5mg Tablet

How Does It Work?

  • Rosuchek D Tablet contains rosuvastatin and vitamin D3/cholecalciferol as its active substances.
  • Rosuvastatin inhibits a substance called HMG-CoA reductase, which is responsible for the formation of low-density lipoproteins (bad cholesterol).
  • Vitamin D3/cholecalciferol reduces the absorption of cholesterol in the body which lowers low-density lipoprotein (bad cholesterol).
