Repalol H tablet is a combination medicine containing losartan, atenolol, and hydrochlorothiazide, used for the treatment of high blood pressure and certain heart-related conditions. By controlling blood pressure effectively, it helps reduce the risk of complications such as heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage. This combination may also be prescribed for managing chest pain (angina) and irregular heartbeats, as advised by your doctor. Along with taking this medicine, maintaining a healthy lifestyle with a balanced diet, reduced salt intake, and regular physical activity is important for better blood pressure control.
Repalol H tablet works through the combined action of its three components. Losartan blocks the effects of angiotensin II, a substance that causes blood vessels to narrow, thereby helping them relax and improving blood flow. Atenolol slows down the heart rate and reduces the force with which the heart pumps blood, lowering blood pressure and reducing strain on the heart.
