Renopress Xl is a alpha-blocker and basically works by relaxing the blood vessels. In case of high blood pressure, Renopress Xl relaxes the blood vessels and make the flow of blood through these easy. In case of Raynaud’s disease, this medicine relaxes the blood vessels of hands and allow the blood to reach fingers easily. In case of heart failure, Renopress Xl relaxes the blood vessels of heart and allow the heart to pump blood smoothly. In case of enlarged prostate gland, Renopress Xl relaxes the muscles around prostate gland and bladder and allow the urine to pass easily....
Directions for Use of Renopress Xl 2.5 MG
The dosage of Renopress Xl is based on the best judgement of your doctor based on your health and usually, It is taken by mouth with a glass of water. Swallow the whole tablet and do not chew it.
Interactions of Renopress Xl 2.5 MG
Interactions with other medicines
- Sildenafil: Concomitant use may cause low blood pressure
- Tadalafil: Concomitant use may cause low blood pressure
- Vardenafil: Concomitant use may cause low blood pressure
- Priapism: May prolong the penis erection duration when used concomitantly, further may lead to damage of penile tissue and loss of potency permanently
- Digitalis, digoxin: Side effects may occur
- Insulin, tolazamide, chlorpropamide, phenformin, tolbutamide: Side effects may occur
- Chlordiazepoxide, phenobarbital, diazepam: Side effects may occur
- Allopurinol, colchicine, probenecid: Side effects may occur
- Procainamide, quinidine: Side effects may occur
- Dextropropoxyphene, phenylbutazone, aspirin, indometacin: Side effects may occur
- Sildenafil, vardenafil, tadalafil: Concomitant use may cause low blood pressure
