Description
Racedot 100mg Capsule contains racecadotril as the main ingredient. It is used to treat acute diarrhoea. Racecadotril prevents the degradation of a natural substance called enkephalins and increases
their levels in the body. This causes a decrease in water and electrolyte secretion in the intestines, thereby treating diarrhoea. This medicine is only available on a doctor's prescription and should be taken at a dose and for a duration prescribed by the doctor. Do not use this medicine during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless recommended by a doctor. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, headache, constipation, vertigo, and thirst. If these effects persist or worsen, or if you experience other adverse effects, seek medical help immediately.
