Medical Description
Pyrigesic 650 tablet is a pain-relieving medicine. It is used to provide temporary relief from fever, pain and aches. It contains paracetamol, also known as acetaminophen. Pyrigesic 650 is an analgesic (painkiller) or antipyretic (reduce fever). Paracetamol acts by inhibiting the release of the natural chemical substance prostaglandins responsible for pain and fever. You should not take more than 4 Pyrigesic 650 tablets in 24 hours. Take Pyrigesic with or after meals to avoid stomach upset. If you feel that your pain and fever are relieved do not take it further. If you have liver and kidney problems, consult your doctor before taking this medicine. Pyrigesic is not meant for children under 12 years of age. Before starting the treatment with Pyrigesic 650 tablet, discuss all medications, supplements and disease conditions with the doctor.
