Pulmosil syrup is a prescription medicine used to treat erectile dysfunction, a condition in which a man cannot get or keep an erection suitable for sexual activity. It contains sildenafil, a phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor that relaxes blood vessels in the penis. This improves blood flow during sexual stimulation, so Pulmosil syrup works only when sexual stimulation is present and does not increase sexual desire. The syrup is taken by mouth after shaking and measuring it with the supplied cup, exactly as prescribed.
