Prolet 25 tablet is an anti-convulsant or anti-epileptic medicine. It is used for the treatment and prevention of seizures (fits) in people who suffer from epilepsy. Epilepsy is a neurological disord
er characterised by abnormal behaviour & sensation, loss of consciousness and uncontrolled movements. Prolet 25 tablet contains Primidone as its active ingredient. It acts by reducing the abnormal electrical activity of neurons in the brain. Few people develop thoughts of self-harm after taking this medicine or similar medicines, inform your doctor immediately if at any time you have these thoughts. Prolet 25 tablet should be taken as directed by the doctor and in doses and duration as prescribed. Before using this medicine, inform the doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or are breastfeeding and about your detailed medical history.

Uses of Prolet 25 MG
Prolet 25 tablet is used to prevent episodes of a certain type of seizure (fits) in patients with epilepsy.
Contraindications of Prolet 25 MG
- If you are allergic to primidone or any other ingredient of Prolet 25 tablet.
- If you have a blood-related disorder called porphyria.

Directions for Use of Prolet 25 MG
- Prolet 25 tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor.
- Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water, do not cut, break or chew the medicine.
- It would be best if you took it at a fixed time for optimal results.
- You should not consume it more than that prescribed by your doctor.
