• If you are allergic to nortriptyline and pregabalin or any ingredients present in Pregabid NT tablet.
• If you have health conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, heart diseases, liver or kidney disorder, etc.
• If you are currently taking any anti-depressant medications.
• If you have liver/kidney damage or disease.
• If you have a history of cardiac arrest or heart failure.

• Aggression
• Headache
• Stuffed nose
• Constipation
• Dry mouth
• Lack of sleep
• Dizziness

Other General Warnings

• You experience allergies like bumps and swelling in the skin, itching after taking this medicine.
• You are experiencing vision problems or dizziness and sleepiness.
• You have any pre-existing medical conditions such as heart disorder, liver or kidney problem, thyroid, etc.
• You have a history of fits, then never stop this medicine abruptly, your doctor shall gradually decrease the dose.
• You may get suicidal thoughts after taking this medicine, talk to your doctor immediately.
• It can cause dizziness and this can lead to accidental injury (fall) in elderly patients. Be cautious if you are an elderly patient or giving this medicine to an elderly patient.

• Pregabid NT tablet be taken as directed by your doctor.
• Swallow it whole with a glass of water, do not cut, break or chew the medicine.
• It can be taken with or without food.
• It would be best if you took it at a fixed time for optimal results.
• You should not consume it more than that prescribed by your doctor.

• Store Pregabid NT tablets in a cool and dry place away from light and moisture.
• Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.

• Pregabid NT tablet is used to treat neuropathic pain, a chronic painful nerve condition caused by nerve damage or disease affecting the sense of touch nervous system.
• This medicine is not recommended for patients with severe heart or kidney disease. Consult your doctor before taking Pregabid NT tablet.
• Pregnant women should avoid using this medication unless advised by a doctor, and it is also not recommended for breastfeeding women.
• It is strictly not recommended for children below 6 years of age and should be used with caution in elderly patients (aged 65 years or above).
• Common side effects of Pregabid NT tablet include nausea, vomiting, constipation, dizziness, headache, flatulence, and dry mouth. Inform your doctor if any of these side effects worsen.
• Do not stop taking Pregabid NT tablet abruptly without consulting your doctor, as it may cause withdrawal symptoms such as insomnia, headache, nausea, anxiety, diarrhoea, depression, convulsion, and excessive perspiration in some individuals.
• If there is a need to discontinue Pregabid NT tablet, your doctor will closely monitor your health and gradually reduce the dose over time.

How Does It Work?

• Pregabalin works by reducing the release of a chemical (neurotransmitter) in the brain responsible for the sensation of pain.
• Nortriptyline works by acting on the release of certain chemicals and electrical activity in the brain.

Interactions with other medicines

• Certain medicines can affect the way Pregabid NT tablet works or this medicine itself can affect the action of other medicines taken at the same time.
• Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
• Especially if you are taking medicines like pain killers, medications for diabetes, corticosteroids, blood thinners, antibiotics, muscle relaxing medicines, medicines for mental disorders such as anxiety, depression, fits and sleep disorders, etc.
