Pizalin Strip Of 10 Tablets
Description
Pizalin Tab 10'S is used to enhance cognition and memory in conditions like stroke and Alzheimers, control involuntary jerky movements called myoclonus in hiccups and Parkinsonism, and improve cognit
ive decline. The active ingredients in Pizaline tablets are piracetam and alpha glyceryl phosphorylcholine. Piracetam belongs to a group of nootropic and neurotropic medicines. Alpha glyceryl phosphorylcholine is a nerve protecting chemical present in the brain naturally and produces acetylcholine, a chemical responsible for transmitting signals in the nerves. The mode of action of Pizalin tablets is by increasing the flow of blood and nutritional reach in the brain. It increases the release of a chemical called acetylcholine, which transmits signals at the nerve endings and has a nerve protecting effect. It increases the oxygen supply to the brain and raises energy levels. This helps improve memory, learning capability, reward predicting behaviour and rational thinking. It also provides relief from involuntary jerky movements in certain conditions such as hiccups and Parkinsonism. Side effects of Pizalin tablets include nervousness, hyperactivity, weight gain, stomach pain, and vomiting. These are mild and subside on their own after a while. Pizalin tablets should be given to older adults with care, especially those with kidney problems. Pizalin tablets should be gradually stopped as advised by the doctor to avoid withdrawal symptoms such as abnormal movements and fits.
