Piodex Injection works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2).

Interactions with other medicines

Piodex Injection decreases platelet aggregation and increases bleeding time
Risk of nephrotoxicity when ciclosporin is given with Piodex Injection
Corticosteroids increase the risk of ulceration with Piodex Injection
If you consume other medications, do mention it to your physician before administering Piodex Injection

Storage and disposal of Piodex 40 MG

Store at room temperature 20°C to 25°C, keep away from pets and children

Dosage of Piodex 40 MG

Overdose

Overdose of Piodex Injection may require activated charcoal to re-absorb the medicine
Do seek immediate medical attention if you over dose.
