Pexep 20mg Tablet
Pexep 20 MG Description
Pexep 20 mg Tablet is an antidepressant (medicines that fight depression). It helps manage the symptoms of depression and anxiety-related disorders such as OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and pan
ic disorder. Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder is a condition wherein there is excessive obsession (repeated thinking about something,) for instance, the fear of germs and hygiene, or there is compulsion (repeat behaviour,) for instance, checking the lock often though it is locked well. Panic anxiety disorder is when the affected individual experiences extreme fear for situations that do not need such a response. The fear might be accompanied by rapid heartbeat, chest pain, stomach pain, dizziness, feeling hot, chill, sweating, or numb hands. Anxiety disorder can cause symptoms such as feeling restless, tense, rapid heartbeat or sweating. For individuals with anxiety disorders, the fear is not temporary, and it could worsen with time. The symptoms can be such that they interfere with schoolwork and job performance. Paroxetine is the active ingredient of Pexep 20 mg Tablet. Pexep 20 mg Tablet increases the levels of a brain chemical called serotonin which helps in the following ways: improves your mood, relieves anxiety and tension, helps you keep calm, helps you deal better with your problems, helps you sleep better, and reduces panic attacks. Share your detailed medical history with your doctor, including any diseases, allergies, medicines you are currently taking, diseases in your family, etc. Your doctor prescribes the most suitable dose based on your health and symptoms. Never self-medicate: Your doctor will conduct a thorough evaluation and prescribe Pexep 20 mg Tablet only if it is helpful to you. Initially, your doctor might prescribe lower doses and gradually increase the dosage. Pexep 20 mg Tablet takes some time to work. Do not change the dosage without speaking to your doctor. For maximum benefits, take Pexep 20 mg Tablet at the same time, every day as suggested by your doctor. It will avoid missed doses and overdosage too. Pexep 20 mg Tablet might cause some side effects. Do not stop the medicine even if you feel better. The side effects are usually temporary and disappear once your body gets familiar with the medicine. However, if the side effects are bothering you, speak to your doctor. Sudden stopping of medicine can lead to severe side effects called withdrawal symptoms. Some are restlessness, anxiety, palpitation, sleep disturbances, and dizziness. When it is the right time, your doctor will gradually reduce the Pexep 20 mg Tablet dosage over a few weeks before completely stopping the medicine.
