Peroclin 2.5% Tube Of 15gm Gel contains a combination of two medicines - Benzoyl Peroxide and Clindamycin. It is used in treating acne or pimples. Do not use this gel if you are allergic to any of it
s components. It is meant only for external application and should be applied as recommended by your doctor. You may experience some application site reactions as side effects, but they normally fade away with time. Please report to your doctor if you notice the side effects persist or worsen.

- You are also applying other topical medicines (cream, ointment, lotion, etc).
- You are suffering from any other skin infections or conditions.
- You do not notice any improvement in your condition after applying Peroclin 2.5% Tube Of 15gm Gel for a week.
- You must avoid being in the sunlight for too long.
- Do not use this gel for more than 12 weeks at one time.
- Do not use this medicine on cuts, scratches, sunburns, sensitive or irritated areas of skin etc.
- Do not let this gel get into your eyes, nose, mouth or on your hair. If it happens, rinse it with water thoroughly.
- Peroclin 2.5% Tube Of 15gm Gel is not recommended for children below 12 years of age.

- Apply the gel on a healthy skin surface, free from cuts and wounds.

- In case your eyes come in contact with this medicine, rinse your eyes with clean water immediately.

How Does It Work?
- Peroclin 2.5% Tube Of 15gm Gel works by the combined action of both its components: Benzoyl Peroxide and Clindamycin.
- Benzoyl Peroxide works by killing the growth of bacteria, softening and peeling (or scaling) the outer layer of the skin. It also helps in reducing blackheads and whiteheads.
- Clindamycin is an antibiotic agent which works by inhibiting the growth and multiplication of acne-causing bacteria.
Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Peroclin 2.5% Tube Of 15gm Gel is applied externally on the skin. Hence, it is less likely to interact with other medicines taken orally. However, it may interact with other topically applied cream and gel. Discuss with your doctor if you are already on another topical gel or cream....
- Other acne treatments, including antibiotics for your skin, medicated soaps and cleansers, cosmetic products should be used with caution, as it may cause skin irritation.
- Concomitant use of Peroclin 2.5% Tube Of 15gm Gel along with medicines like tretinoin, isotretinoin, tazarotene, succinylcholine, rocuronium should be avoided.
- Concomitant use along with other topical sulfonamide-containing products (like silver sulfadiazine, sulfanilamide and mafenide) should be avoided as it may cause a temporary change in skin and hair colour....
