Peroclin 2.5% Gel Description

Peroclin 2.5% Gel contains a combination of two medicines - Benzoyl Peroxide and Clindamycin. It is used in treating acne or pimples. Do not use this gel if you are allergic to any of its components.

It is meant only for external application and should be applied as recommended by your doctor. You may experience some application site reactions as side effects, but they normally fade away with time. Please report to your doctor if you notice the side effects persist or worsen.

How Does It Work?

  • Peroclin 2.5% Gel works by the combined action of both its components: Benzoyl Peroxide and Clindamycin.
  • Benzoyl Peroxide works by killing the growth of bacteria, softening and peeling (or scaling) the outer layer of the skin. It also helps in reducing blackheads and whiteheads.
  • Clindamycin is an antibiotic agent which works by inhibiting the growth and multiplication of acne-causing bacteria.
