Pazzvida is a medicine used for selected advanced solid tumours. Its active ingredient is pazopanib.

Uses

  • Advanced renal cell carcinoma
  • Advanced soft tissue sarcoma

Contraindications

If you are allergic to pazopanib or any other ingredient of this medicine, do not use it. Tell your doctor if you have liver disease, high blood pressure, heart disease, a history of stroke or bleeding, a clotting problem, or a recent operation.

  • You have a history of heart disease, stroke, blood clots, or bleeding problems...
  • You have high blood pressure that is not well controlled.

  • You have thyroid problems.
  • You have had gastrointestinal problems, including ulcers, diverticular disease, or previous gastrointestinal perforation or fistula.
  • You recently had surgery or plan to undergo surgery, as Pazzvida tablet may affect wound healing.
  • You develop chest pain, shortness of breath, severe headache, seizures, vision changes, or sudden weakness

Do not breastfeed during treatment and for the period advised by your oncologist, because the effect on a breastfed baby is not known.

Directions for Use

Swallow this tablet whole on an empty stomach, at the planned time advised by your oncologist. Do not crush or chew it. Follow the prescribed treatment plan exactly.

Storage and disposal

Store the tablets in the original pack at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light. Keep out of reach of children and return unused tablets to a pharmacist.
