Pancrehenz capsule is a prescription medication. It contains digestive or pancreatic enzymes. The main use of Pancrehenz capsules is to treat malabsorption due to the deficiency of pancreatic enzymes

This capsule contains Pancreatin as its single main ingredient. The mode of action of Pancrehenz capsules is to break down the complex structure of the food and convert it into energy. - As per CDSCO, Pancrehenz capsules are used in situations where the body cannot make pancreatic enzymes, such as:
- Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (pancreas unable to produce digestive enzymes)
- Chronic pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas for a long time)
- Pancreatic cancer
- After pancreatic surgery
Contraindications of Pancrehenz 300 MG
- If you have a known hypersensitive reaction to Benidipine or any ingredient of Pancrehenz capsule.
- If you are diagnosed with restricted movement of the small and large intestines or bowels, a condition known as fibrosing colonopathy.
- If you are diagnosed with cystic fibrosis and are using this medication in high doses. Be cautious of any unusual symptoms related to the stomach and intestines.
- If you have a severe deficiency of vitamins and minerals such as folic acid or iron.

The enzymes can help digest the complex food particles into smaller and easily digestible substances. They convert fats into glycerol and fatty acids, proteins into proteases and derived substances, and starch into dextrins and sugars. Directions for Use of Pancrehenz 300 MG
- Use the Pancrehenz capsules precisely as directed by your doctor
- Do not exceed the prescribed dosage, even if you do not feel any difference.
- Take this capsule with or after having food to prevent stomach irritation.
- It is better to swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water as soon as it is opened.
