Omen Ct 40/6.25mg Tablet
Omen Ct 40/6.25mg Tablet Description
Omen CT 40mg/6.25mg Tablet is a combination of two tablets, i.e., olmesartan medoxomil and chlortalidone. This tablet is used to lower blood pressure in patients with hypertension. High blood pressur
e can damage vital organs like the heart, brain, kidney, and eyes. It can also cause heart attack, heart failure, blindness, or stroke. Olmesartan medoxomil in Omen CT 40mg tablets lowers blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels. Chlortalidone increases the amount of water passed as urine, ultimately reducing blood pressure. This tablet is only available on a doctor's prescription and should be taken at a dose and for a duration prescribed by the doctor. This tablet is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is also not recommended in children below 6 years. Before taking this tablet, inform your doctor if you are allergic to any ingredients or if you have bleeding disorders or other health problems. Common side effects include muscle twitching, tiredness, feeling thirsty, skin rash, dizziness, and loss of appetite. If these effects persist or worsen, seek medical help immediately.
