Olmo H 20mg Strip Of 10 Tablets
Description
Olmo-H 12.5mg/20mg Tablet is a medicine used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension). It contains two active ingredients, olmesartan and hydrochlorothiazide, that work together to lower blood pressure effectively. Olmesartan helps relax and widen your blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more easily, while hydrochlorothiazide helps your body get rid of extra salt and water through urine. This combined action reduces the pressure on your heart and blood vessels, improving overall heart health.
Keeping your blood pressure under control is very important, as untreated hypertension can lead to serious health problems such as a heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage. Taking Olmo-H 12.5mg/20mg Tablet regularly helps reduce these risks and keeps your heart and blood vessels healthy. Even if you feel fine, continue taking your medicine as prescribed, because high blood pressure often has no obvious symptoms.
You should take Olmo-H 12.5mg/20mg Tablet exactly as your doctor has advised. It is usually taken once daily, preferably at the same time each day, to maintain consistent levels in your body. Do not stop taking the medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor, as this can cause your blood pressure to rise again. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it’s almost time for your next one.
For best results, this medicine should be taken along with healthy lifestyle changes. Try to eat less salt, maintain a healthy body weight, avoid smoking, and limit alcohol consumption. Regular exercise, such as walking or yoga, can also help improve blood circulation and lower stress levels. Following these habits will make your treatment more effective and help you stay healthier in the long run.
Always inform your doctor about any other medicines you are taking or any existing medical conditions, such as kidney, liver, or heart problems. With proper use and lifestyle adjustments, Olmo-H 12.5mg/20mg Tablet can help you effectively manage your blood pressure and reduce the risk of future complications.

Mode of Action
How Does It Work?
- Olmo H Tablet contains two active substances that help to lower the blood pressure in individuals with high blood pressure - olmesartan and hydrochlorothiazide.
- Olmesartan works by blocking a substance in the body that causes the blood vessels to tighten. The tightening of the blood vessels restricts proper blood flow and causes the blood pressure to increase. When this substance is blocked, the blood vessels relax and blood flow occurs easily. As a result, the blood pressure is lowered. ...
- Hydrochlorothiazide helps the body to get rid of extra fluid by making your kidneys produce more urine. This leads to a reduction in the blood pressure.
