Medical Description
Ofc Kt eye drop is used to relieve pain, redness, and swelling after cataract surgery, and to treat or prevent eye infections. It contains two active ingredients: Ketorolac, which reduces pain and inflammation, and Ofloxacin, an antibiotic that fights infection-causing bacteria in the eye.
Before using the drops, wash your hands, shake the bottle, and apply the drops carefully as directed by your doctor. You may feel mild eye irritation, redness, or watery eyes after using it. Avoid using it if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, allergic to any ingredients, or wear contact lenses (wait 15 minutes before reinserting them). Also, avoid driving until your vision clears after using the drops.
Store the eye drops in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and out of reach of children. If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember, but do not take a double dose. If your condition does not improve or worsens, please notify your doctor.

Mode of Action
How Does It Work?
- Ketorolac works by blocking certain natural substances in your body (called prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation. By reducing these substances, ketorolac helps ease pain and swelling.
- Ofloxacin is an antibiotic that works by killing the bacteria causing an infection in your eye. It does this by stopping the bacteria from growing and multiplying. Bacteria need to copy their genetic material (DNA) to survive and spread, and ofloxacin blocks this process.
