Nebilong Tl Strip Of 10 Tablets
Description
Nebilong Tl tablet is a combination of two medications, nebivolol and telmisartan, which belong to the antihypertensive drug class. It is prescribed to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) when treatment with a single medication is not sufficient.
Nebilong Tl tablet works by lowering blood pressure, thereby reducing the risk of heart attack (myocardial infarction) and stroke. During treatment with Nebilong Tl tablet, your doctor will closely monitor your kidney function, blood pressure, electrolyte levels, and blood sugar levels to minimise the risk of side effects.
It is recommended to take Nebilong Tl tablet at the same time each day to maintain consistent levels of the medication in your bloodstream. Continue taking it for as long as your doctor advises. Even if you feel well, do not stop taking this medication on your own, as high blood pressure often has no symptoms. Stopping the medication abruptly may worsen your condition.
Some common side effects may include headache, cold extremities, slow heart rate, numbness in the extremities, decreased blood pressure, weakness, and elevated potassium levels in the blood. It is advisable to avoid potassium-rich foods and supplements while taking this medication. Dizziness may occur, so avoid driving and rise slowly from a seated position.
Before starting the medication, inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney issues. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor for advice before taking this medication. Let your doctor know about any other medications you are taking, especially those used to treat high blood pressure or heart conditions.
