Navelbine 50Mg Injection

• Treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in adult patients.
• Treatment of advanced or metastatic breast cancer, particularly when the disease has progressed after previous treatment

• If you have a severe allergy to vinorelbine or other vinca alkaloids
• If you have severely low neutrophil or white blood cell counts
• If you have a severe active infection
• If you have severe liver impairment, unless specifically assessed by the treating doctor
• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding

• Low white blood cell count (neutropenia), increasing the risk of infection
• Low red blood cell count (anemia), causing fatigue, weakness, and shortness of breath
• Neurological effects, such as peripheral neuropathy (numbness, tingling, or loss of deep tendon reflexes)
• Nausea, vomiting, constipation, and loss of appetite
• Injection site reactions (pain, redness, or inflammation along the vein)
• Fatigue and asthenia (weakness)

• Hair loss or thinning (alopecia)
• Muscle pain (myalgia) and joint pain (arthralgia)
• Temporary elevation of liver enzymes
• Shortness of breath or bronchospasm
• Mild diarrhea or abdominal discomfort

• Severe, life-threatening neutropenic fever and serious infections (such as sepsis or pneumonia)
• Severe local tissue damage, blistering, or necrosis if extravasation occurs during infusion
• Severe neurotoxicity (such as jaw pain, vocal cord paralysis, or severe constipation leading to intestinal obstruction)
• Acute shortness of breath and severe bronchospasm, particularly when combined with mitomycin
• Cardiovascular events, including chest pain or irregular heart rhythms

Other General Warnings

• You develop fever, chills, or other signs of infection
• You have severe constipation, abdominal pain, or difficulty passing stool or gas
• You develop sudden shortness of breath or wheezing
• You notice severe pain, redness, or swelling at the injection site
• You have severe numbness, tingling, or weakness
• You have chest pain or an abnormal heartbeat
• You have liver disease or other significant medical conditions

• Navelbine injection is always prepared and administered by a trained healthcare professional as an intravenous infusion in a hospital or clinic.
• Do not attempt to self-administer or prepare this medication at home.
• Regular blood tests are required before treatment to check whether your blood counts are suitable for the next dose.
• Tell the nurse immediately if you feel pain, burning, redness, or swelling around the injection site.

• Hospital pharmacies and clinical staff handle storage of Navelbine injection vials.
• The medicine is generally stored according to the manufacturer's specified temperature and light-protection requirements.
• Clinical staff manages proper disposal of vials, infusion bags, and administration equipment in accordance with hospital biomedical waste protocols.

• Keep all scheduled blood test appointments so your doctor can check your white blood cell counts before every weekly infusion.
