Medical Description

Nacphin Injection is an analgesic (medicines used to relieve pain). It is primarily used in conditions like post-surgery or during childbirth when moderate to severe pain is anticipated. It is used when other medicines have failed to provide significant relief. It works by preventing pain signals from reaching the brain. Nacphin Injection should be administered under the supervision of a doctor. It should be taken at a dose and for a duration as prescribed by the doctor. Some of the side effects of Nacphin injection are drowsiness, sweating, nausea, vomiting, headache, constipation, and sweating. Most of the side effects are not distressing. However, if the side effects persist for a long period, you should consult a doctor. You must also inform the doctor if you do not get relief from pain. You should inform your doctor about any pre-existing conditions like kidney or liver disease, diseases related to stomach or gallbladder, or difficulty in urination. Pregnancy

Nacphin Injection can be taken during pregnancy only if a doctor has prescribed it. The effect of the medicine on the foetus during the initial days of pregnancy is not clearly known. However, some studies have shown that it causes a decrease in the foetus's heart rate when it is used during labour.
