Medical Description
Nacl 5 eye drop is a sterile saline eye solution containing sodium chloride, which is similar to the natural salt concentration of your tears. It is mainly used to gently wash and irrigate your eyes, helping to remove dust, dirt, and other foreign particles. It is used to soothe tired, dry, or irritated eyes caused by pollution, smoke, wind, or long screen time. It is suitable for children, adults, and the elderly and is safe for regular eye hygiene when prescribed by an ophthalmologist.
It works by flushing the surface of your eyes with a balanced salt solution that cleanses and moisturises without causing irritation. It is gentle on sensitive eyes and reduces the risk of allergies or discomfort. It is non-habit-forming and safe for repeated use as needed when prescribed.
To use Nacl 5 eye drop, wash your hands first, twist off the cap, and hold it close to the eye. Gently pull down your lower eyelid and squeeze so that the solution falls into your eye. Make sure the tip does not touch your eye or any surface. Close your eye and blink gently, then repeat for the other eye if required. If you are unsure about the correct method, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Nacl 5 eye drop is generally very well tolerated, and side effects are not expected. Occasionally, you may notice mild, temporary stinging or blurred vision just after use, which usually clears quickly. If irritation, redness, or discomfort continues, stop using it and consult your doctor. Always seek medical advice if your eye symptoms do not improve or become worse.
