  • Methylprednisolone and cyclosporin inhibits the metabolism of each other when administered together
  • Coadministration of cyclosporin can cause convulsions
  • Coadministration of phenobarbital, phenytoin, or rifampin increases excretion of methylprednisolone
  • Coadministration of troleandomycin or ketoconazole inhibits the metabolism and reduces the excretion of methylprednisolone
  • Coadministration of high does of aspirin reduces excretion of aspirin, leading to salicylate toxicity
  • Methylprednisolone can increase or decrease the effect of blood-thinning medications
