Megalis-D Tablet
Description
Megalis D tablet is a medication for treating erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation in adult men. It contains a combination of two active ingredients: tadalafil and dapoxetine. Tadalafil is a PDE5 inhibitor that works by relaxing the smooth muscles and improving blood flow to the penis, which helps achieve and maintain an erection. Dapoxetine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) that increases the levels of serotonin in the nervous system. This action helps to increase the time it takes to ejaculate and improves control over ejaculation, providing a calming effect and reducing anxiety.
Megalis D tablet is only for men. It should be taken as advised by your doctor, usually a couple of hours before sexual intercourse. It is crucial not to take it more than once a day. The medicine does not cause dependency or severe withdrawal symptoms, but it is important to follow your doctor's instructions. Do not use this medication without a proper medical diagnosis.
You should not use Megalis D if you have low blood pressure, bleeding disorders, a history of heart conditions, or severe kidney or liver disease. It is contraindicated if you are under 18 years old, have been diagnosed with mania or bipolar disorder, or are using certain recreational or antidepressant medicines.
The medicine should be used with caution, and you should let your doctor know about any other medications, including herbal remedies or supplements, you are taking. This is to prevent potential severe interactions. For example, it can have dangerous interactions with certain antidepressants and medicines that affect heart rhythm.
