Other General Warnings

• You have a thyroid disorder or you are diabetic.
• You are suffering from fungal, bacterial, or viral infections.
• You have high blood pressure or heart disease.
• You have low levels of potassium in the blood.
• You are pregnant or planning a pregnancy.
• You have eye problems like glaucoma or cataract.
• You have disorders related to the immune system, kidney, or liver.
• You are taking any other steroid medicines orally or an injectable.
• You notice worsening symptoms after using this inhaler.

• Use Maxiflo 250 inhaler exactly as recommended by your doctor.
• Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• Read the instructions on the label or leaflet before use.
• Rinse your mouth, gargle with water, or brush your teeth after inhaling and spit it out.

• Store Maxiflo 250 inhaler below 30°C. Do not freeze.
• Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.

Overdose

Missed a Dose

• If you have missed taking any dose of Maxiflo 250 inhaler, then take it as soon as you remember.
• If it's already time for the next dose then skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule.
• Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

How Does It Work?

• Maxiflo 250 inhaler contains a combination of fluticasone and formoterol as active substances.
• Fluticasone is a corticosteroid that reduces the symptoms and prevents asthma from worsening. It also helps to improve lung function.
• Formoterol widens the air passage in the lungs and provides relief from the symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
• Together both these medicines make breathing easy and provide relief of symptoms like shortness of breath, difficulty in breathing, wheezing, etc. in patients with asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Interactions with other medicines

• Some medicines can affect the way Maxiflo 250 inhaler works or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
• Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements, or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
• Concomitant use of some blood pressure-lowering medicines (propranolol, atenolol, water pills) along with Maxiflo 250 inhaler should be done with caution.
• Medicines to treat fungal and bacterial infections (ketoconazole, itraconazole, erythromycin) and antiviral medicines (ritonavir, cobicistat-containing products) may worsen the side effects if given along with this inhaler.
• If steroid tablets or injections are going on, the use of inhalers should be done judiciously as it may add up to side effects.
