Lopamax 2 MG Description
Lopamax 2mg tablet is used to treat acute nonspecific diarrhoea in patients two years of age and older. The medication works on intestinal contraction and decreases stool passing frequency. Do not ta

Directions for Use of Lopamax 2 MG
- Take this medication in the dose and for the duration as advised by your doctor
- Do not chew, crush or break the tablet in half
- Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water
- Take it with or without food as advised by your doctor
Interactions of Lopamax 2 MG
Interactions with other medicines
- This medication with itraconazole, quinidine, or gemfibrozil can increase the toxicity levels of loperamide in the body and cause cardiac complications
- Concomitant use of this medication with inhibitors of CYP3A4 or P-glycoprotein can increase exposure to loperamide
Storage and disposal of Lopamax 2 MG
- Store in a cool and dry place at temperature below 25°C
- Keep away from children and pets
