Levosiz 5 MG Description

Levosiz 5 tablet is an antiallergic medicine. It is used to relieve symptoms of seasonal allergy or allergic rhinitis. Levosiz is also used to treat itching and swelling caused by skin allergy or urticaria (hives) and insect bites. It reduces the symptoms of allergy such as sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, itching, rashes and redness. This tablet contains levocetirizine as an active ingredient. It works by blocking the action of a chemical called histamine, which is produced during allergic reactions and causes allergic symptoms. This medicine can make you drowsy and sleepy. Thus, it is advised to take it before bedtime. Take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor for the exact prescribed duration. Levosiz-5 tablet should not be used by children below 6 years of age.
