Rifampicin decreases the effect of tofacitinib

Alcoholic beverages may cause dizziness, drowsiness, and increased sleep when taken with flunarizine

Tofacitinib should be avoided in patients taking azathioprine, 6-mercaptopurine, cyclosporine and tacrolimus due to the increased risk of infections
Tofacitinib should be given with caution in patients who are at risk of developing pulmonary embolism
