How Does It Work?
The injection prevents the formation of an enzyme which blocks the cell membrane of the fungus from developing. The fungi, therefore, either dies or stops multiplying because the cell membrane is not completely formed. This injection, however, is not effective against bacteria and virus....

Interactions of Itaspor 100 MG
Interactions with other medicines
- The composition of Itaspor 100 Mg Injection 20 Ml when combined with cisapride can have additive effects. Cisapride could also lead to irregular heartbeat
- Astemizole, terfenadine, pimozide/quinidine, and erythromycin should not be taken when you are on this injection
- The effect of contraceptive medicines can be reduced when you are on this injection. Hence you may need an additional form of contraceptive to counter it.
- The effects of rifampicin, warfarin, prednisone, celecoxib, and voriconazole are also reduced when you are on this injection
Interactions with food items
When administered on an empty stomach, this injection could lead to heartburn. Hence it is advisable to take it along with food.
