Mode of Action of Isorus Strip Of 15 Tablets
How Does It Work?
Isosorbide dinitrate is a vasodilator, it works by releasing nitric oxide and then nitric oxide activates guanylyl cyclase and finally relaxes the vascular smooth muscle. Hydralazine hydrochloride dilates arterial smooth muscle selectively. Together they lower blood pressure and reduce the workload on the heart and thus is used to treat heart failure....
Directions for Use of Isorus Strip Of 15 Tablets
This medicine should be taken for the prescribed duration even when your feel good. Do not do any modification to the dosage without consulting a doctor. Swallow the whole tablet with a glass of water. Do not chew the tablet. Drink plenty of water while on this medicine unless your doctor ask you to drink less water....
Interactions of Isorus Strip Of 15 Tablets
Interactions with other medicines
- Soluble guanylate cyclase (sGC) stimulator riociguat ith Isorus tablet can cause low blood pressure
- Avanafil: Concomitant use may cause drop in blood pressure
- Sildenafil: Concomitant use may cause low blood pressure
- Vardenafil: Concomitant use may result in lowering blood pressure
- Tadalafil: Concomitant use may cause low blood pressure
- Propranolol: When administered with hydralazine, the concentration of propranolol increases in plasma
- Metoprolol: When administered with hydralazine, the concentration of metoprolol increases in plasma
- Lisinopril: Hydralazine causes increased concentration of lisinopril in blood
- Furosemide: Furosemide increases the of furosemide
- Other vasodilators: The vasodilation effects of isosorbide dinitrate might be additive to other vasodilators
