Iman 250mg Injection
Description
Iman Injection is a combination of Imipenem and Cilastatin. It is an antibiotic medicine used to treat infections in the lungs, airways, urinary tract, bones, joints, stomach, and surrounding organs,
including the pancreas, liver, and gallbladder. It is also used to treat infections of the inner lining of the heart and blood infections. It works by killing the bacteria causing infection by disrupting the formation of the cell wall. Cilastatin helps imipenem work more effectively by preventing its breakdown by enzymes in the kidneys, maintaining its optimal levels to fight infections. This medicine is given as a Injection and will be administered in hospital by your doctor or nurse. Do not attempt to self-inject this medicine.
