Healtears Eye drops is an eye lubricant. It is used for the treatment of the sensation of dryness in the eyes. It also relieves other minor complaints such as burning & fatigue induced by dust, smoke

, dry atmosphere, air conditioning, extended computer screen use or contact lens. It contains sodium hyaluronate as its active ingredient. Dry is a common condition in which your eyes are not able to produce a sufficient amount of tears for lubrication. Healtears eye drops works by moistening, soothing and lubricating the surface of your eye and thus relieving dryness. Healtears Eye drops should be used as directed by your doctor.

Other General Warnings

Talk to your doctor if

You experience irritation, pain, redness of the eye and changes in vision occur or your condition worsens, you may need to discontinue the treatment.
Contact lenses should be removed before each application and may be inserted after 15 minutes.
Concomitant eye medication should be administered 15 minutes before the installation of Healtears.
To avoid contamination or possible eye injury, do not touch the tip to the bottle or vial to any surface and avoid contact with the eye.
Discard open single-dose container after use.
If you accidentally ingest or swallow this medicine, contact your doctor or visit the hospital immediately.

Mode of Action of Healtears 0.1 %W/V

How Does It Work?

It works by moistening, soothing and lubricating the surface of the eyes thus relieving dry eyes, burning and fatigue.

Directions for Use of Healtears 0.1 %W/V

Wash your hands before each application. Use the Healtears Eye drops as advised by your doctor.
Tilt your head back and look up, hold the bottle upside down above your eye.
Carefully squeeze to drop the required amount of drops in your lower lid then blink to spread the eye drop across the surface of the eye.
Wait for 5-10 minutes and repeat for the other eye, screw the cap back on the bottle after use.

Interactions of Healtears 0.1 %W/V

Interactions with other medicines

Tell your doctor about any other medicine, supplement or OTC products you are taking.
If you use another eye drop product concomitantly with Healtears Eye drops, keep a minimum gap of 15 minutes between the application of two medicines.

Storage and disposal of Healtears 0.1 %W/V

Store the Healtears Eye drops at or below 25°C in a clean and dry place.
Keep the medicine away from children and pets.

Dosage of Healtears 0.1 %W/V

Overdose

Healtears eye drops are meant for external application, cases of an overdose are unlikely. However, upon accidental ingestion contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.
