Gyrosprar Tablets contain sparfloxacin, a type of antibiotic used to treat certain bacterial infections of the ears, nose, throat, lungs, urinary tract, skin, soft tissues and female reproductive organs. Sparfloxacin stops bacterial enzymes needed for copying and repairing genetic material, so susceptible bacteria cannot grow and die. Gyrosprar Tablets are taken by mouth with water and may be taken with or without food. Use this medicine only when prescribed for the infection being treated. Complete the prescribed course even if symptoms improve.
