Contraindications
- If you are allergic to midodrine or any other ingredients of the Gutron Tablet.
- If you have severe heart disease.
- If you have any kidney disease.
- If you have blood vessel diseases.
- If you have high blood pressure.
- If you have elevated eye pressure (glaucoma).
- If you are having difficulty urinating.
- If you have an overactive thyroid gland.

- You suffer from high blood pressure.
- You are allergic to midodrine or other components.
- You have serious heart disease. You experience acute kidney disease.
- You have blood vessel diseases.
- You have a serious prostate condition.
- You have diabetes.
- You are taking digitalis preparations, a medication that reduces heart rate.
- Your doctor may ask you to regularly monitor your blood pressure and kidney function.
- Gutron Tablet is not recommended for patients under 18 years of age.
Directions for Use
- Gutron Tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor. Swallow it whole with a glass of water; do not cut, break, or chew the medicine.
- It can be taken with or without food. It is best to take it at the same time each day for optimal results, and you should not consume more than what your doctor prescribed.
Storage and disposal
- Keep this medication away from children and pets.
- Store the Gutron Tablets at room temperature.
- Keep it away from light and moisture.

How Does It Work?
Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Inform your doctor about all the medicines, supplements, or herbal products you are currently taking or plan to take to avoid any potential interactions.
- Concomitant use of the Gutron Tablet with decongestants, reserpine, and guanethidine (used to treat high blood pressure), Amitriptyline, Doxepin (used for mental health issues), Cetirizine, Loratadine (used for allergies), Isocarboxazid, and Selegiline (used for mental health treatment) should be avoided. Using this medicine together with Prazosin or phentolamine (medicines for heart diseases) alters the effects of this medicine. Concurrent use with Digitalis preparations (medicines for heart problems) is not recommended as it may lead to a reduced heart rate.
- Patients receiving treatment with steroids (fludrocortisone) in addition to this medicine may be at an increased risk for glaucoma; thus, careful monitoring is necessary. Inform the doctor or laboratory personnel that you are using this medicine before any lab tests, as it may interfere with test results.
- Other medicines such as promethazine, quinidine, paroxetine, fluoxetine, and bupropion should be used cautiously alongside the Gutron Tablet.
