Description
Gate P Eye Drop contains a combination of Gatifloxacin and Prednisolone. It is used in reducing post-operative eye conditions such as pain, redness, swelling, etc where a risk of bacterial infection
exists. You need to use this medicine as advised by the doctor. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to it. - Gate P Eye Drops work by the combined action of both its components - Prednisolone and Gatifloxacin.
- Prednisolone is a steroid that works by blocking the production of a certain chemical substance in the body called prostaglandins, which cause redness, swelling, itching in the eye.
- Gatifloxacin is an antibiotic that works by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thus stopping the growth of bacteria.
Directions for Use

Storage and disposal
- Store Gate P Eye Drops below 30°C in a clean and dry place.

- You need to discard the medicine 4 weeks from first opening it.
- Do not use the eye drops if you notice the contents are of a different colour in any way or if particles are present.

Missed a Dose
If you have missed a dose of Gate P Eye Drops, use it as soon as possible. Do not use a double dose of this medicine just to compensate for the missed dose.
