Contraindications

Interactions with other medicines
- Gardenal Tablet might cut back the effectivity of beta-blockers, Antibiotic medicines, Cimetidine, Clozapine, Corticosteroids, Cyclosporine, Disopyramide, Vibramycin, Antiepileptic, Furosemide, Antifungal Agent, Antipsychotic Agent, Lamotrigine, Methadone, Nifedipine, Oral Contraceptives, Thiazine, Phenytoin, Propafenone, Psychotropics, Quinidine, Tacrolimus, TCAs, Aminophylline, Warfarin, and Isoptin.
- Gardenal Tablet stimulates the metabolism of beta-blockers like Metoprolol and reduces their bodily fluid concentrations; take into account a renally-eliminated beta-blocker (atenolol, nadolol).
- Gardenal Tablet may increase chloramphenicol metabolism, and chloramphenicol may inhibit the metabolism of Gardenal Tablet.
- Gardenal Tablet may increase the metabolism of corticosteroids, cyclosporine, disopyramide, antifungal agent, nifedipine, oral contraceptives, phenytoin, propafenone, quinidine, verapamil; indefinite-quantity changes is also helpful.
- Felbamate might increase Gardenal Tablet concentrations resulting in toxicity.
- Gardenal Tablet might cut back the diuretic medicine response to Furosemide; monitor.
- Concurrent use of Gardenal Tablet with narcotics like Codeine might end in augmented Central Nervous System depression.
- Concurrent use of Gardenal Tablet with antiepileptic medicine might result in elevated Gardenal Tablet bodily fluid concentrations.
- Valproic acid inhibits the metabolism of Gardenal Tablet, leading to elevated bodily fluid concentrations.
