Gamrich Bottle Of 100ml Emulsion Description

Gamrich Emulsion is an anti-scabies medicine. Scabies is a skin condition that is caused by a mite. Gamrich Emulsion contains a combination of cetrimide and gamma benzene hexachloride as active subs

tances. It is used for the treatment of scabies only in patients who cannot tolerate other medicines or who have failed treatment with other approved medicines. Do not use this medicine to treat any other skin conditions other than that prescribed by your doctor. Gamrich Emulsion is meant for external application only. Do not use more of the medicine or apply it more often than recommended. Particular care should be taken when using Gamrich Emulsion in infants, children, the elderly, individuals with other skin conditions like atopic dermatitis or psoriasis or those individuals who weigh less than 50 kg.

Uses of Gamrich Bottle Of 100ml Emulsion

Gamrich Emulsion is used for the treatment of scabies (infestations of a mite called Sarcoptes scabiei).

Contraindications of Gamrich Bottle Of 100ml Emulsion

If you are allergic to cetrimide, gamma benzene hexachloride or any of the other ingredients of Gamrich Emulsion.
In body cavities like the mouth or ear or as an enema (a treatment to clean the bowel).
If you are using Gamrich Emulsion near the eyes and middle ear and surrounding areas.
If you are using this medicine in premature infants.
If you have crusted (Norwegian) scabies and other skin conditions (atopic dermatitis, psoriasis).
If you have a known uncontrolled seizure/fits disorder.

Mode of Action of Gamrich Bottle Of 100ml Emulsion

How Does It Work?

Gamrich Emulsion contains cetrimide and gamma benzene hexachloride as active substances.
Cetrimide is an antiseptic medicine that kills or stops the growth of microorganisms that cause scabies.
Gamma benzene hexachloride is an anti-parasitic medicine that gets directly absorbed into the parasites and their ova (mature female reproductive cell) and kills the scabies-causing parasite.

Use Gamrich Emulsion as directed by your doctor.
This medicine is for external use only.
Apply it on a healthy skin surface free from cuts and wounds.
Wash your hands before and after using this medicine unless your hands are the area to be treated.
