Fycompa 6mg Strip Of 14 Tablets
Description
Fycompa tablet contains a medicine known as perampanel. It is part of a group of medications referred to as anti-epileptics. These medications are used to treat epilepsy, a condition characterised by recurrent seizures. Your doctor may prescribe it to help reduce the frequency of your seizures.
It stops seizures in epilepsy patients by inhibiting a brain receptor called the glutamate receptor, which reduces the abnormal and excessive activity of nerve cells in the brain.
Take Fycompa tablet as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow whole, do not chew, crush, or break. It can be taken with or without food, but it's best to take it at the same time each day.
Common side effects of this medication include dizziness, drowsiness, changes in appetite (either increased or decreased), weight gain, and feelings of aggression, anger, irritability, anxiety, or confusion. If you experience any of these and they do not subside over time, please consult your doctor.
Take your medication as prescribed by your doctor since missing doses may lead to seizures. Avoid switching brands, and ensure you have an adequate supply of your medication at hand.
