Formost 400 Respicaps contains two active molecules, namely, mometasone and formoterol. This medicine is used for the treatment of asthma. Mometasone blocks different types of cells and natural molec
ules involved in inflammation. Formoterol helps in dilating the airways, which helps to breathe easily. This medicine is only available on a doctor's prescription and should be taken at a dose and for a duration prescribed by the doctor. Do not use this medicine during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless recommended by a doctor. In addition, this medicine is not recommended in children below 12 years of age. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you are allergic to any ingredients or have other health conditions. Also, contact your doctor immediately if you notice any unusual side effects after taking this medicine.

- Concomitant use of ritonavir can increase the effect of Formost 400 Respicap
- Concomitant use of diuretics and xanthine derivatives can cause changes in ECG and blood potassium levels
- Concomitant use of MAO inhibitors, macrolides, tricyclic antidepressants, and medicines that
- prolong QTc interval can enhance effects on the heart
- Concomitant use of beta-blockers can decrease effectiveness of Formost 400 Respicap
- Concomitant use of an anaesthetic medicine called as halogenated hydrocarbons can increase the risk for arrhythmia
