Talk to your doctor if
- You have any heart-related disease like high blood pressure or irregular heartbeats.

- You have eye disorders like increased eye pressure or cataract.
- You have tuberculosis, fungal, or viral infections.
- You experience a fungal infection of the mouth (oral candidiasis) after using this respule. To avoid it, you should rinse your mouth and gargle after inhalation ofFormonide Respule respules.
- You experience facial skin irritation upon using a nebulizer with a face mask. To prevent such irritation, the face should be washed after using the face mask.
Mode of Action
How Does It Work?
- Formonide Respule contains two active ingredients: formoterol and budesonide.
- Formoterol acts by opening and relaxing the air passage in the lungs and making breathing easier.
- Budesonide is a steroid that produces anti-inflammatory action within the lungs. It reduces swelling and irritation and hence relieves breathing difficulty.
Directions for Use
- Use Formonide Respule exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
- Do not change your dose or how often you use Formonide Respule without talking to your doctor.
- Open the foil pouch just before administration and use the contents of the vial immediately.
- Formonide Respules should only be used with a standard jet nebulizer connected to an air compressor with proper airflow and with a face mask or mouthpiece.
- The doctor will tell you all the details and instruct you on the correct use.

- Tell your doctor if you are on beta-adrenergic blockers used to lower blood pressure and for certain eye conditions. If you are not sure which are these medicines, ask your doctor.
Storage and disposal
- Store Formonide Respule under refrigeration at 2°–8°C. Do not freeze. Protect from light.
- Once opened, the foil pouch containing the respules can be stored at room temperature below 25°C for up to 4 weeks.
- If kept at room temperature for more than 4 weeks, do not use the respules and discard them.
- Keep out of the reach of children and pets.

Symptoms of an overdose of Formonide Respule include tremor, headache, muscle cramps, dry mouth, nausea, dizziness, fatigue, sleeplessness, and vomiting. If you think you have taken too much of this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital....
Missed a Dose
If you missed any dose of medicine take it as soon as you remember. If it's time for your next dose then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dose schedule. Do not take a double dose of medicine to compensate for the missed one....
