Flavedon Od 80 MG Description

Flavedon OD 80 mg strip of capsules contain trimetazidine as the active component. This medicine is used in combination with other medicines to treat angina pectoris (chest pain). Trimetazidine works

by decreasing the heart's requirement for oxygen by inhibiting fat breakdown and increasing glucose breakdown. This helps the heart to work more efficiently. This medicine is only available on a doctor's prescription and should be taken at a dose and for a duration prescribed by the doctor. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you are allergic to any ingredients or if you have bleeding disorders or other health problems. Common side effects are dizziness, abdominal pain, headache, diarrhoea, itching, weakness, and indigestion. If these effects persist or worsen, seek medical help immediately.
