Fivasa Vaginal Capsule is an antifungal medicine. It contains fenticonazole as its active ingredient. Fivasa is used to manage fungal infections of the vagina and vulva (opening of the vagina). It re
duces vaginal burning, itching and discharge caused due to fungal infection. Fivasa Vaginal Capsule is meant for vaginal use only and should be used exactly as recommended by your doctor. Follow all the directions carefully. If you feel any discomfort, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Fenticonazole or any other ingredients of Fivasa Vaginal Capsule.

Slight burning sensation in the vagina while inserting Fivasa Vaginal Capsule.

Pregnancy

Other General Warnings
Talk to your doctor if
- You develop any allergic reaction after using Fivasa Vaginal Capsule.
- You develop any other symptoms (like abnormal or irregular vaginal bleeding, vaginal sores, etc) or your condition worsens, immediately consult your doctor.
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding
- You or your partner are suffering from or have had a sexually transmitted disease.
- Your symptoms do not improve within 7 days of using Fivasa Vaginal Capsule.
- You are above 60 years old.
- You have developed this infection more than twice in the last 6 months.
- Fivasa Vaginal Capsule can damage condom and diaphragms, thus making them ineffective. Please speak to your doctor about alternative methods of preventing pregnancy.
- Fivasa Vaginal Capsule should not be used in patients below 16 years of age.
Mode of Action of Fivasa 600 MG
How Does It Work?
Fenticonazole in Fivasa Vaginal Capsule stops the growth of fungi by inhibiting the formation of a fungal cell wall component.
Directions for Use of Fivasa 600 MG
- Fivasa Vaginal Capsule is meant for vaginal use only.
- Use this medicine as directed by your doctor.
- Follow all the instructions and read the label or leaflet before use.
- Lie on your back with your knees raised and spread apart.
- Insert the Vaginal Capsule in the vagina as far as it comfortably goes, with or with the use of an applicator.
- Wash your hands before and after using this medicine with a mild soap.

Interactions with other medicines
- Fivasa Vaginal Capsule is meant for vaginal use, thus it is less likely to interact with other medicines.
- Please tell your doctor if you are using any other medicines, over-the-counter medicines (that you buy without a prescription) and herbal preparations.
- While on treatment with Fivasa Vaginal Capsule, do not start, stop or change the dosage of your medicines without consulting your doctor.
- Please ask your doctor about alternative methods of contraception as Fivasa Vaginal Capsule can damage condoms and diaphragms, thus making them ineffective in preventing pregnancy.
Storage and disposal of Fivasa 600 MG
- Fivasa Vaginal Capsule should be stored at room temperature, away from heat and moisture.
- Keep it away from children and pets.
- Discard the medicine when no longer needed or expired.
Dosage of Fivasa 600 MG
Overdose
As Fivasa Vaginal Capsule is meant for vaginal application, cases of overdose are unlikely. However, upon accidental ingestion contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.
Missed a Dose
If you have missed to use Fivasa Vaginal Capsule, use it as soon as possible. Do not overuse this medicine to compensate for the missed dose.
