A: Meat, seafood, green leafy vegetables like spinach, nuts, beans, peas, orange, resins, etc. are rich in folic acid, iron, and vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 is naturally found in animal products like fish, meat, poultry, eggs, milk and milk products.
Q: Does the Ferrofit tablet interact with other medicines?
- There may be possible interactions with antacids, antibiotics & bisphosphonates (anti-osteoporotic drugs) leading to reduced absorption and hence is recommended to take with a gap of 3-4 hours.
- Inform your doctor if on drugs like phenytoin, methotrexate, sulfasalazine, water pill, metformin, omeprazole and cimetidine.
